Here's a bit of James' water love I talked about last post: Happily playing:
Now pick me up please:
My life is over:
These are some pics from a fun day at Kiwanis Park in town. We rented a bike and expected the ride to be mellow, like a paddle boat. Not so much. The lake is surrounded by LOTS of hills and crazy curves that go straight for the water. Made for a much more exciting ride than we had anticipated, that's for sure. Needless to say, the boys loved it. We did too. Got a good quad
workout.
the kids gearing up:
James happy in-motion:
James happy on a break:
James weirded out by his brother's enthusiasm (not uncommon):
Has anyone ever seen a duck do this? I don't know if I'm just not a very observant person, or what, but this was the first time I'd ever seen a duck dive for yummies near the shore. It was hilarious. We watched for longer than I thought possible, and stayed entertained.
And last but definitely not least, one of Jeremy's latest hobbies. Since he's so particular about following directions, his creme brulee is PERFECT every time he makes it. Not good for our diets, but oh so good for our souls...

What an awesome post! Start with an adorable baby and end with some gorgeous creme brulee. Mmmmmm.
That bath picture is SOOO cute. I love how you can see the pure excitement in his face. On your last post, don't worry too much about James being a little behind. Both of my boys were for different things and then it seemed like after we had them tested about a month later they went non-stop and I wished for the more mellower times. You're a great mom, you can tell by how happy your boys are. Good luck with the move and graduation in a few weeks.
I love the bath picture! James is such a cute kid. To answer your question about the duck, yes I have see one do that before. J.R. and I watched 2 of them do that a couple years ago. It's amazing how long you can watch them and not get board! We are excited to see you guys in a few weeks!
I love your blog- Why have I not visited it more often??
